Universal Protection...
Universal Protection was founded in 1944 during World War Two, there was a Joint Task Force of US, Canadian, and British soldiers, sensing that people would abuse the Nazi Technology. So these JTF stole all of the important Technology that they had. They based their company souly on one objective: taking technology by forcive means.
With their foothold avaliable in America, Canada, Britain, and Germany (West and East), they starting massing and working on their technology. Their people grew in ranks as the years advanced, and while the Governments of Earth fueded over the Petroluem, these people developed better fuel sources. These people developed their ways to move around the Earth freely.
When the apocalypse came their underground facilities stayed intact. The CEO and all of their staff that stayed underground survived any sort of genocidal onslaught that went on above ground. And when it all settled, UP was the first to emerge from the ground unscathed by the war.
